Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - mountaingoatgreg - 11-08-2010 I was to busy to join in the fun of the last challenge but I have been patiently waiting for the fall challenge and what a great challenge it is. I wrapped up the RPM meet I was working on this weekend and I can get back to modeling again soon. My first project will be to clean and organize my work room.... The project I am submitting for the EOY Challange is my Tum-A-Lum Lumber company : Here is the thread I started on it; http://www.the-gauge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=3280 Here is a picture of the start of the project I started this project awhile ago and got busy with planning of the show and other stuff...so now it is back to work. Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - Gary S - 11-08-2010 Hey, I remember that one! Glad to see it resuming, I'll be looking forward to the completion! Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - mountaingoatgreg - 11-26-2010 Oh yeah....I guess I should work on my project.... How about this???? Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - Justinmiller171 - 11-26-2010 No Fair! No taking pictures of the interior of a real building and claiming they are ho-scale Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - mountaingoatgreg - 11-26-2010 Justin, When I took the photo on the bottom it reminds me of a building being remodeled. I hope it looks as good as a finished building as it looks as a building in progress... Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - rrinker - 11-26-2010 That's EXACTLY what it reminded me of. Now, where did you get a 1,000 gallon container of CA, and what do the neighbors thing of it laying out there in your yard like that? --Randy Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - mountaingoatgreg - 11-27-2010 Less of a remodel...getting closer to a completed interior.... Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - Gary S - 11-27-2010 Gotta say I like it! The tools, the boxes, the wood on the counter sides, A1! Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - mountaingoatgreg - 12-29-2010 OK well I have narrowed my scope in order to possibly finish this challenge...I would LIKE to have the downstairs and upstairs detailed for the end of the time period. I have decided to go ALL OUT on this thing including lights, details details and more details... Thank Big Blue for helping me get this far!!! More photos on my website http://oregontrunk.blogspot.com/ Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - nachoman - 12-29-2010 I absolutely love seeing all the details and figuring out what each little bit is. I wish I had a hardware store like that near me! Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - WT fan - 12-30-2010 That's a great interior!!! Wolfgang Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - Gary S - 12-30-2010 Awesome! Love the wrenchs and pliers on the table. It is looking like a well-stocked store now! Re: Mountaingoatgreg EOY 2010 Challenge - mountaingoatgreg - 01-01-2011 Thanks guys I am glad you like the interior so far. I keep adding and adding it gets closer with each part I add. I did order the remainder of the details for both upstairs and down which inlcude a cash register, bathroom details, office furniture, boxes, and other stuff. I will continue to post progress pictures back on the old thread for the Tum-A-Lum Lumber company. Well no where near finished...but I am happy with what I have got done to date. |
