This Life-Like 0-8-0 was weathered by my friend Pete. He used manly chalk.
At first the engine got a layer dull cote. And some parts he worked with felt tip pens.

Very nice Wolfgang. Chalks seem to do a very realistic job for weathering.

Yes, I have to say that turned out very well. In a lot of cases, chalks do a great job of weathering without a whole lot of input , and therefore are a great weathering tool.

This Mike has got a weathering and decals from me. I've lerned from Pete. Thumbsup Also first dull cote, then chalk and dull cote for sealing.
