Links In Another Window - eightyeightfan1 - 12-27-2008

Is there anyway we can have links open up in a new window?
Seems like when you click on a link, you leave here, and go to the link. You then have to re-navigate to get back here.
Or, is there a setting I just haven't turned on yet?

Ed, I may be doing it incorrectly, but just using the "BACK" button takes me directly from the linked site back to the post in which the link was given.

No, we can make the links open in a new window by adding some add-on software. Mikey and I discussed it with Pat and we decided to leave it the way it is for now since according to Pat, upgrades sometimes conflict with some of these add-on features and we're not looking to create problems. I know, I'm use to having it the other way, and frequently close the window thinking I'm closing the second window when in fact, I shut my browser down. Eek I've got to learn to do what Wayne is doing, hit the back button to get back to where I started.

Oh yeah, you can always right click on the link and select, "open link in new window"...
