Date required for Southern wood caboose - Jon Grant 4472 - 03-06-2011 I picked up a scratchbuilt Southern caboose today and would like to find out if this type of car could have lasted in service long enough to work with first generation SOU diesels. Although photographed on Sweethome Chicago, I intend to collect enough locos and freight cars to backdate Sweethome Alabama to the 1940s/50s.
