Trains in Advertising - MasonJar - 05-28-2011

I just saw this the other day:

[albumimg]3969[/albumimg]

It's an ad that pops up on a local news site for a contest to win a trip this summer. The train in question is the VIA Rail turbo which has not been in service since 1982...

Have you seen any advertising where trains are depicted incorrectly (or correctly)? Can you post a copy or a link? What do you think?

Well, the ads for The Railway Children play at the roundhouse still show the GNR Stirling single (used in London) instead of the LBSC loco in Toronto.

Interesting. It is a simple graphic attachment. Until now (the time of the post) it was appearing "normal" (i.e. as a graphic) although now it is just text of the file name. Not sure what happened.

I'll look at putting in the Gallery and linking it that way later today.

EDIT - done, and post above edited.
