Re: Nantahala Midland V 3.0 - Tyson Rayles - 04-21-2013

Instead of working on the layout like I should I was playing with the camera and some new wildlife that I recently got. Don't think the dawg will last long at this rate though.

Hopefully the bear won't think its worth his time and just saunters away! Eek 357
Nice little detail scene! It'll be fun to see how long it takes people visiting the layout to notice it in the tall grass.

Thanks Ralph ! I don't know if I will leave them in that spot but where ever I leave them I will probably shave the grass down a little more.

It looks natural the way it is, tall grass is a fact of life. You might want to put a mower attachment behind the tractor though, just to give the illusion that it will get mowed some day. 357 357

Phase two is done, for now anyway Icon_lol ! The first pic is of the overall layout then the overall of phase two and finally the right side of phase two looking towards the main layout ( if you can call 6 foot by 28 inches a main layout Eek ) .

Re: Nantahala Midland V 3.0 - faraway - 04-28-2013

Wonderful! I love your layout. It is so very different from mine. No nasty industry but beautiful green scenery everywhere. And my respect for all the details you do in 1:160 scale.

Re: Nantahala Midland V 3.0 - doctorwayne - 04-28-2013

Cheers ...and I also like the way the layout seems to sequé seamlessly into the backdrop and the fact that the trains don't overwhelm their surroundings. Very nicely done. Thumbsup Thumbsup
