WTB: old audio casette with urban background sounds - IndyCity - 11-01-2011

I need your help.

Until about 8 to 10 years there were C60 and C90 audio cassettes with typical urban or landscape sound as background sound.

I hope serveral of you will remember them.

I think Green Frog would have offered thses casettes.

It may also have been several manufacturers.

I'm looking for such a casette with urban sound for my layout.

Here is the page for Green Frog audio cassettes: http://www.greenfrog.com/catalog4.html

Here is another company that produces sound cassettes: http://www.sunsetwestproductions.com/citysnds.htm

How about the more modern form like mp3 sound files? I did search for urban sound mp3 download and got some interesting hits (beside a music band named urban sound). This might be a starting point http://www.freesfx.co.uk/soundeffects/urban/

Justin :

Thank you for the link to the old Green Frog page. There are the tape I'm looking for.

I've send an email to Green Frog.

Justin and Reinhard :

The main advantage of these old tapes are, that there are not only single scences but a continuous recording of 30 or 45 min per side.

That sounds more natural than a mixture of individual scenes.
