Shape lock plastic - AF350 - 11-09-2011 I have other hobbies in addition to trains, while looking at a Make magazine I found an ad for a plastic material called shape lock. It is a thermomelt plastic that can be made plyable with hot water or a hair dryer and can be molded into any shape by hand or ccan even be used to make a mold of an object to cast. It sets up at room temp and can be drilled tapped and machined. The reason I posted this is because I went to thier website and they have a 35 mg sample for the cost of shipping.
