Carving out cabooses(cabeese) - AF350 - 04-05-2012 Got my shipment of Basswood in now to start the project, I took a ho caboose shell and scaned it at 136 % for S scale to come up with a pattern and also one at 181 % for O scale pattern as well. here is a pic of the caboose being used as a master/model for the hopefully fun project. Re: Carving out cabooses(cabeese) - AF350 - 04-06-2012 Hello all made a trial cut and found that bass wood is not too soft or too hard but I need to use a scroll saw to cut the lines with out straying from the line but is doable with some patients.
