...I had one of these and sold it on eBay, only to find there was a gentleman on a fixed income who would've really liked to have gotten a hold of it. A WWII vet, I've taken it upon myself to find one for him and entertain any reasonable trade or cost for it. It is a Lindsay Ghost car motor and it looks like this...

Does it need to be that exact thing? NWSL has a large variety of self powered trucks available.

Thanks for the help, but it does need to be the exact thing, though the urgency has quelled somewhat. I appreciate that, though it's a good thing to go through the piles that this hobby can accumulate and bring it back to the things that interest oneself the most in the hobby. Kind of liberating actually...when your layout is 4x6, it's kinda hard to justify 125 locomotives and 300+ cars 35
