I was just looking for a conversion chart. Re: Scale Conversion Chart - Brakie - 06-21-2012 A conversion chart can be a handy thing even though I never found the use for one. Seeing math never was my favorite subject I use a simple plan..If its 45' in N Scale I just measure 45' in HO..That works equally well for converting feet plans into other scales. As far as track plans I don't bother converting I just use the general idea and go from there.. Re: Scale Conversion Chart - Mike Kieran - 06-21-2012 I use it for making photocopies. That way, when I build a model or a mockup, I get the proper perspective. Re: Scale Conversion Chart - CNJ774 - 06-21-2012 Howdy Everyone, I am finding this useful for sizing drawings & plans; I’d only wished I had this about 2 years ago. I’m looking into having some computer generated 3d models made of a pair of British OO scale locomotives in HO scale using the Selective Laser Sintering process. I am also looking into a 1:72 scale helicopter being downsized in HO. More details in a new thread. ![]() |
