American 14" Railway Guns In Action - MountainMan - 03-14-2013

Note the lengthy amount of time it takes to fire one salvo from the battery, and the exclusive use of manual labor to load and elevate, despite these guns being built and manned by Navy personnel.

Apologies for the terrible music soundtrack.

MM - THANKS for that excellent look at a niche in history! The Rhapsody In Blue soundtrack sounds to have been recorded in '65 or '66. Excellent.

Proof that if anything is otherwise too heavy or dangerous to move, use a train.
