And what for ridiculous coal cars these are for that locomotive? But three of these models are new for my 1900 train.

A couple of old Train Miniature X29 style boxcars that I redid about 40 years ago. I kitbashed the underframes into more prototypical arrangements with correct truck spacing. The car on the left has dry transfers, I think possibly from Clover House. The car on the right has Champ decals.

After a good time of modeling (and waiting for continuing) I have done last steps before finishing the Decker reefer.

All new door hardware (parts from Grandt Line) is installed after corrections of last color demages - removing old door hinges and latches. The very last step come now, doing by my friend Joerg - blackening the hardware, aging and weathering and mounting of couplers and air hoses. All!

Here again a picture of an other decorated model where I started the project. Nice Atlas reefers with an undefinable frame construction and a more toy-like hardware at doors. Good but not good enough! However last pictures will follow yet.
And all the cars got its own number! Atlas had delivered only models with two different numbers.

I was pulling a long freight with double head Mikado's. I liked how it looked so I ran and got my camera. These are older Mantua that I dressed up a little.
