Typewriter train art - ezdays - 04-28-2014 These are a few of the works of art created back in the mid to late 1900's by Paul Smith, a man with cerebral palsy. These were sent by a friend, and as usual, I checked it out to find out that this story is true. They are remarkable since they were all created using just a typewriter, mostly with the upper character keys such as: @#$&*.... Some of you might have already seen these, but this is my first time. Back in '79 my Mum was a typing and shorthand teacher and as fun drills for her students she had some typing art guides. It was mostly count the spaces then x number of a certain character, count some more spaces then y number of the same character, maybe then z number of a new character then more spaces then a carriage return. Even the most complex of the examples where nothing compared to this art work. Something to marvel at thats for sure. Mark |
