Re: The Hobo Camp Fire Is going well #VII.. Stop In!!! - ezdays - 05-09-2015

Good Saturday morning to you all. Well, it did rain last night, they said it could and for a change, they were right. It's so cool this morning that the heater in my truck turned on for a short time. It's still below 60 and not expected to reach 80 today. I really feel fortunate though after seeing the weather in other places. They're showing what could be the first hurricane to hit the east coast coming up, that plus those tornadoes and floods.... sheesh...

Good evening all.

Hard days work today and was very hot inside and out.

Weather for today was hot till end of shift it cooled down a bit, sat on the front porch till sundown a few rumbles of thunder but no rain or ominous clouds.

Got the 2015 Lionel Christmas catalog to day.

Other than that not much going on here.

Greetings, gang.

Happy Promontory Point Day.

Cloudy and 59 degrees in the remote reaches of northern Iowa this morning. High for today is supposed to be n the low 70s. Rain and thunderstorms for today and tonight followed by much cooler weather tomorrow. Better weather than what my daughter is experiencing. Where she lives there is 7-12 inches of snow and 30+ mph winds predicted for today and tonight.

Ran the new shay yesterday for the first time. Way cool to watch all the action. Just finished watching the F1 race. Rather a routine race today. Not much on the agenda for the remainder of the day.

All stay safe.

Rainy good morning. No big amounts of rain. Hope all those with storms stay safe. Nothing real busy today.
Have a great week.

Re: The Hobo Camp Fire Is going well #VII.. Stop In!!! - ezdays - 05-11-2015

Good morning all, another nice week in store for here. Unlike other parts of the country. Normal temps with highs in the mid-90's. Some rain in the forecast for later on in the week.... we'll see how that goes. Had two days where the A/C didn't kick in, to be sure, the heater in the vehicles did come on early on those mornings. My heart goes out to those that weren't so lucky weather-wise as well as for those victims of the violence and unrest that we are seeing so much of lately. Sad

The big Texas storm just blew threw Ohio a little while ago. Lots or cold rain and wind gusts topped 85 mph. Several large trees uprooted in the storm. All here is fine but very wet.

Greetings, gang.

Sunny and cold this morning outside my window. Right now it's 39 headed for a windy high of 62 with 20-30 mph winds. Rain in the forecast for tomorrow and the weekend.

Had a really good day yesterday. Got lots of things done. Today I need to see if I can cancel the last of My Fair Lady's magazine subscriptions. Also on tap is a trip to the gym. Another project is to start going through her desk and cleaning it out. With a full size desk and matching credenza that's going to be a lot of cleaning.

Mr B. - is that the Topolina?

All stay safe.
