When became the yellow line mandatory? I am undetermined if 1975, 1980 and 1985 required the yellow line. 1975 - 1985 is about the timespan used on my layout.
I looks like platforms used by MBTA Budd RDCs had no yellow lines. That is not a precise definition of time but it fits into the context when BM and MEC engines are around and unmarked RDCs stop at the platform.
