Fine Scale Miniatures, the I.M.DUNN Co. - Ensign - 04-29-2018 Hi everyone, I thought I would share with you my version of "Fine Scale Miniatures" last kit Jewel Series No.19 I.M.DUNN Co. I have always been a big fan of George Sellios, and of his kits and of his fabulous layout the Franklin & South Manchester. I built my Dunn's kit slightly different from what the instructions suggested. I hope you will enjoy my photos, of the completed scene. Greg Shinnie Re: Fine Scale Miniatures, the I.M.DUNN Co. - bdw9535 - 04-29-2018 Greg, Another great build. I do admire the attention that you put in the details of your models. Thanks for posting. Bruce Re: Fine Scale Miniatures, the I.M.DUNN Co. - faraway - 04-29-2018 That is impressive indeed! Re: Fine Scale Miniatures, the I.M.DUNN Co. - Ensign - 04-29-2018 Thanks! Bruce & Reinhard, for your kind comments. I also love to add lighting to most of my builds, and this one was no exception. Here are some photos showing the lighting effects. And a few more that I took outside at sunset. Greg Re: Fine Scale Miniatures, the I.M.DUNN Co. - MountainMan - 04-29-2018 I'll take a truck full of that dynamite you advertise!! Re: Fine Scale Miniatures, the I.M.DUNN Co. - cn nutbar - 04-29-2018 Outstanding modelling and photography Greg Re: Fine Scale Miniatures, the I.M.DUNN Co. - Ensign - 04-29-2018 Thanks MoutainMan & cn nutbar, for your posts and kind words. MountainMan, Slim has got a real blow out price on that Dynamite right now. Greg Re: Fine Scale Miniatures, the I.M.DUNN Co. - twilight - 04-30-2018 Greg, looks great . I like the way you mixed in the natural lighting creating that dusk effect. I was a little late to your Magnum Pier post, but that is awesome also. How long did this module take? Mark Re: Fine Scale Miniatures, the I.M.DUNN Co. - Ensign - 04-30-2018 Mark, thanks for your nice comments! Now are you referring to how long this diorama took to build, or my Magoun pier module? This I.M.DUNN diorama took about 2 months to build. The pier took me about 2 years to build, not counting the ships constructions. Greg |
