Bruce RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - doctorwayne - 12-07-2018 Nice effect, Bruce! Wayne RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - nachoman - 12-08-2018 Simply amazing, bruce! RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - cn nutbar - 12-08-2018 What a great shot Bruce---would make a nice Christmas card. Hard act to follow but here's a shot taken down at the docks in Leetown RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - bdw9535 - 12-08-2018 Wayne, Kevin and Ed, thanks for the comments. Bruce RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - csiguy1970 - 12-09-2018 1068 is seen leading 22W today (12-09-18) on an intermodal train headed East through Jeanette, Pennsylvania. Todd RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - Charlie B - 12-09-2018 Bruce, fabulous. What is your secret for the snow. It is very realistic and I assume it vacuums easily. Charlie RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - cn nutbar - 12-10-2018 Bruce---Whiskey Point looks like it could use some help from the Leetown Division RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - cn nutbar - 12-10-2018 During the winter season the "lake effect snows'' have a major impact on the local railroads especially in the higher elevations of the Niagara Peninsula.A TH&B snowplow extra heads south to clear the tracks at Vinemount RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - bdw9535 - 12-10-2018 (12-09-2018, 07:21 PM)Charlie B Wrote: Bruce, fabulous. Bruce RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - bdw9535 - 12-10-2018 Ed, Nice plows, you will most likely need them more up in your area. Bruce RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - BR60103 - 12-10-2018 Has anyone modelled a double-track plough? No, it's not twice the width. The left side goes a long way forward and the plough part is not V shaped but a straight line. The idea is that the snow is pushed to the side rather than half onto the other track. Read an article, but don't remember seeing them. RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - doctorwayne - 12-11-2018 I've not modelled one, but have seen photos of the real ones, David. If I'm not mistaken, though, I think that Bob Boudreau made a very nice model of one, perhaps featured in RMC or MR some time ago. Wayne RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - cn nutbar - 12-11-2018 David---I found this picture of a CNR double track plow in the "Old Time Trains" web-site RE: Weekly Photo Fun 12/7 - 12/13/18 - BR60103 - 12-11-2018 Thanks, Mr Nutbar. Now, what did they do with the coupling and the airhose when they were ploughing? |
