Bruce - That is a great scene with so much going on.

Deano - Love those red and grey units.

Ed - Sweet looking loco.

Sales reps from Baldwin dropped by Leiperville Union Station with a couple of demonstration units hoping to convince the executives from the RK&M to purchase a few units.

This is (to the best of my knowledge) the only railroad bridge constructed over Mud Run.  Mud Run transitions into the Lehigh River in the foreground.  This area was the scene of one of the most deadly railroad accidents ever, and is featured on my layout (scenery ongoing - my current project).  For those interested in the accident - here's a link: https://culturedcarboncounty.blogspot.com/2014/05/mud-run-train-disaster-name-of-terror.html

My preference is for the slim and nicely-rounded bodies that are "struttin' their stuff" on the sidewalk.

I spent quite some time reading the reports on that mishap...what an awful time that must have been.
