Affordable Laser cutter, LazerBlade on kickstarter

They have raised over $400,000 for this project with nine days to go. If they make $425,000 it will include an aluminum base plate at no extra charge. I can see this thing making a lot of small details, windows, doors, etc. I plan on spending this weekend learning the drawing software.
