CNJ's Newark bay draw

Toptrain sent me some a copy of an article about some of the early construction of DY draw. It talks about another (4th bridge) to occupy the same spot and a temp bridge that was in use during construction. This copy from Scientific American Is the only reference to this "other bridge" circa 1887 that I have found. It can also be read in Google's free books section, where Toptrain found it.
