Action at the roundhouse
6400 still exists in a museum in Ottawa.

The museum is in unreliable condition as it has been underfunded. I'm not sure of current condition, but part of it was revamped lately.

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.
Most modellers can get two of them to work.

Hi exohead---on the left is a CNR E10A Mogul (2-6-0) #91 and in the middle stall is a CNR H6 Ten-wheeler (4-6-0) #1533.Both these locomotives were typical branchline power used in both freight and passenger trains.

Here's the 91, just out of the paint shop...

The first stop for all outbound locomotives from the James St. roundhouse is at the coaling tower where their tenders are filled. It's a steady process and the yard switcher is kept busy pushing hoppers of coal to keep the hungry beasts fed.
