My Hometown---Part 2
Hi Charlie---looking forward to that day,you can be sure we'll spend more time at this spot than I did this afternoon. This scene reminds me of another location located near my hometown---Chippewa Creek on Doctor Wayne's EG&E

I was searching photos of Paris and I see some great pictures from atop the hill looking at that trestle. Need to do that one too.

Hello Everyone---I had a chance to get out to take some pictures even though the weather conditions weren't that great as the skies were overcast with some light rain.Over the last few days we've had some cool nights with rain and wind so the autumn leaves are starting to disappear too quickly so I headed to a couple of my favourite local rail-fanning locations---CP Kinnear Yard and Bayview Junction---here's some of the scenes from today.

I remember crew changes without the train stopping, and there was crew on both ends. Now they are not allowed on or off moving equipment on most of the bigger railroads.

Very impressive yard power at CP's Kinnear Yard today consisted of three GP20 ECO's---2288,2280 and 2266

Stuck in traffic at the corner of Main and Gage waiting for the train to pass---I certainly didn't mind the delay especially when I had my camera handy. These locomotives have just left Kinnear Yard and are heading north most likely to National Steel Car and other industries located in the industrial section of Hamilton

This autumn has been one of the best for moderate temperatures and the long lasting colours on the trees---I only wish it would continue

Another beautiful day in my hometown so I headed out to Bayview---looks like some rail-fanners are getting high-tech as I spotted a flying camera/drone

As if we don't have enough problems already with over-eager railfans ruining an otherwise decent shot - now we'll have their techy-toys marring the view, too. Icon_lol
