So do we consider the delay a problem with the AEI tags missing from the car or an air issue such as COTS or single car air test out of date, or??

(Just having some fun at the expense of the rivet counters, too much real choochoo for dollars for me lately) 35

Nope, the delay was a paperwork issue. The car sat in the impound yard for a good number of weeks because there was no manifest to identify the contents of the car. Since we here on the Canyon State RR took this as a security breach, we had no choice but to impound the car until we got the proper clearances. Our security is usually provided by the Pinkerton Group, but we had to use an alternate for this job since they were busy tracking down a couple of train robbers that were heading down to South America. Icon_lol We knew that we could count on the Keystone Kops 35 Popcornbeer to do this job, and so after about three months they we able to determine that we were safe to release the car and it's contents. And that's the true story as to why there was a delay... Missing AEI tags? We don't need no stinkin' AEI tags, not when you have the Keystone Kops working for you. 357 357

Hi All:
The Tour Car arrived here in Florida (well, San Bernadino, CA - at my clubs layout - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.scalerails.org/">http://www.scalerails.org/</a><!-- m --> ) on Saturday, October 1st. You can imagine my surprise when I saw that the contents were "Gator Nuggets". What were "gator nuggets" that needed refrigeration doing in a box car??? Being a Florida boy here, I know about gator and it does taste good, but not if it spoils. Come to find out that shaygetz had packed them in a huge container with dry ice. So it was good for a bit of time, but I had to get it iced....in a hurry. Please go to the "HO Tour Car Pictures" to see its trip and the surprise contents that will be leaveing for the RRManiac in Pennsylvania.

Rembering Bil (bil) Marsland ... P5se Camelback

Hi All:
I am sure you all remember Bil (bil) Marsland ... P5se Camelback. I accepted the Tour Car and wanted it to tour our layout in memory of bil, as he was a member of our club. Unfortunately, as most of you know, bil passed away in May. Please see the pictures in the HO Tour Car Pictures section.

welll gentlemen I have received a back up car so I could have one for an open house this Saturday. I don't know what happened to the original. I will be putting it behind a locomotive as first car in a train. I feel it will be more readily seen there. I appreciate the efforts of some people who will remain nameless for getting the backup car to me. I have a question, Where do I send the car when I am finished?
