I was at the Western Prototype Modeler's meet in San Bernardino on Saturday. I met a new vendor there who has some really amazing laser engraved products. His brick sheets are engraved in bass wood, and they show the grain when "naked", but as I watched him add various colored acrylic washes and blend them the grain disappeared and the brick work "came to life". He also makes laser cut security bars for windows out of a flexible material. Here is a link to the web site.
