CP MP15AC paint schemes
I do find photos of CP MP15AC (serving in the Chicago area) with at least four different paint schemes

1. One line "CP Rail"
2. Two lines "CP Rail" and smaller letters "system"
3. Two lines "Canadian" and "Pacific"
4. Two lines "Canadian" and "Pacific" and a large golden emblem

Could you give me rough figures when they have been introduced?
I think #3 started around 1997. #4 is even newer and #1 is older than 1980.
A quick web search of "Canadian Pacific diesel paint schemes" brings up several sites. The first one I looked at was http://www.trainweb.org/galt-stn/cproster/paint.htm It pretty much confirms my impression that CP has had a lot of "interim" or "experimental" or "economy schemes", and other than saying that the ones after straight "CP Rail" on Action Orange came in the late 1980s and early 1990s, you're best off going by individual photos!
Thanks a lot for the pointer. I opened another can of (xmas) worms Big Grin
