I agree... I used DW's method on a caboose I built and didn't have any problem installing them.
Threading the turnbuckles on the monofilament...THAT was another thing.... :evil:

Yeah!!! A fair bit of squinting even with the 3 power specs on!!!!
This time around i've tried a more elegant method of securing the monofilament.

   

Just one important thing though, make sure when trimming the surplus thread that you cut on the right side of the knot. Wallbang  Wallbang  35  :oops:
