Steve---I really appreciated your question, you peaked my interest on the green cross---I found a solution :"Re: Green cross on locomotives

First aid kit is in the cab. On CP the green + indicates where the stretcher is located.

Hi Steve---the green sign on CN locomotives also identifies the location of a stretcher---interesting CP uses a cross on their sign---you would think it should be one universal sign for all railroads

Hard to believe it's the 5th of April with all that white stuff still covering the ground at Hamilton's Bayview Junction. On this bright, sunny and cold day I caught this powerful CN train 422 eastbound with three AC units including 3012,3032 and 2930.

Mainline traffic on the CN through Hamilton Ontario has been limited ever since the railroad has cancelled CN train 331/330 so I consider myself lucky to have captured train 422 this morning at 8:45am as it passed through the industrial section of the city.Unfortunately the early morning sun ruined what could have been a much better picture as SD70M-2 #8013 and #8834 headed west over the crossing at Gage Ave.N.

Conditions were much better this morning around 10am at Hamilton's CP Kinnear Yard with the sun behind me just as train 246 entered the yard from the west.Today's consist included a couple of ES44AC units including CEFX "Bluebird" #1055
