New Bachmann streamliners
#1
I see Bachmann has a new line of N scale, 85-foot fluted, side streamlined cars: baggage, coach, and boat-tail observation. They appear to come unlettered, and painted for Baltimore & Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Santa Fe. MSRP is $49-59, and the "street price" at MB Klein is about $29-35 each.

here's a quick view , note the rear red light on the observation car is not illuminated - the Kato car is illuminated .
all car insides are lit.
coupler height match's Kato - not forgetting those nice BIG Backy couplers Nope
smooth running and wobble free.

a couple of years later - one car derailed on the Kato double crossover and shorted out - I noted smoke from the truck , and the heat generated (the spring is a coil thus acting like a electric fire when voltage is applied it glows red ) melted the plastic truck  - the Kato pick up arrangement is far superior .
