New York bound commuter train wrecks inside Hoboken terminal, smashes through buffer and stops just short of waiting room wall.

Mother of an 18 month old dead, more then 100 injured. All ferries and trains (subway and light rail included) shutdown to and from station during the morning rush. When rail service will be restored is unknown. Do you think NJT will finally get a move on with the PTC install?

Thats some pretty intense stuff. I was following it all yesterday. I'm glad it wasn't worse!

I was surprised to hear that they hadn't really attempted to install PTC at all. Certainly, the newest locomotives they have should have came with the equipment to do so.
