That gravel/dirt looks good, like the real stuff, Mike. All the dirt around here looks like mud.

Wayne thank you. I use the finest sized gravel WS makes then go over that with a layer of wood ashes from a wood stove and rub them in really good to take out more of the coarseness which is always a challenge in N scale. However I no longer own a wood burning stove so I may have to try ashes from the BB-Q when my current stock runs out.

Hey, Mike, if you get desperate, I'll mail you some wood-ash - we have a woodstove, which is well-used every winter.

I agree with Wayne... That scenery looks great! My dirt/gravel never looks that good.
