Advise for Hand Painting?

Thanks for all the help so far. I’m due home in just a couple weeks and going to give things another go and try to work in some of the tips here. I’ll share what I come up with here and hopefully get a better finish this time!

Just one more tip. I keep a spray bottle with 90% alcohol handy and will occasionally spritz an area as I'm working if I'm seeing streaks and it's drying too fast like when painting wood. It will loosen up the already dried paint. Works well when you're trying to blend two colors or add shading.
