Last package of track came today.I think I need to retink a few things .The girder bridges are over 80' long and that's kind of a wide stretch to run a two lane road through.

Re: My Z scale layouts from start to ??? - Catt - 02-28-2015

Ok, decided the girder bridge would work out so I cut out the underpass did a little carving and slapped some colour on it to see how it looked.(I wanted to be sure it would work like I wanted before I committed to much work to it.I need to do some more grading on the road slope as that 18 wheeler just barely clears the bottom of the bridge.

This is what I am aiming for, after I get the inlet on the other side of the layout roughed in I will be coming back to this to finnish it.

I would flip that rig the other way around. As it is, it looks to be heading to sure disaster... Nope

Re: My Z scale layouts from start to ??? - Catt - 03-02-2015

You guyZ just ain't got no imagination. That road goes on for miles and miles.Aside from that with all but one loco not being run for over a year and one needing some repair work all 8 locos run just fine. Thumbsup Thumbsup So now I is a really happy camper.

Re: My Z scale layouts from start to ??? - Catt - 03-04-2015

I got the inlet cut out of the layout last night, and glued the bottom in this morning. Now it's back to waiting for the glue to dry so I can move on to the next phase.
