Re: BOeC layout - bdw9535 - 11-26-2015 Syl, Nice to see you posting again. Have to say it again, spectacular job on your scenery and backgrounds. Bruce Re: BOeC layout - doctorwayne - 11-26-2015 I agree with Bruce, and I also really enjoyed that video. Wayne Re: BOeC layout - sailormatlac - 11-26-2015 Excellent! Those old catenary girders truly set the mood in Montreal! I'll say it again, but I like how your layout feels like the real thing! The weathering job on the bridge is quite good! I think is was light green before, isn't it? Matt Re: BOeC layout - Canadian Atlantic Railway - 11-26-2015 Cool vid looking forward to the next instalment. I'll have more time around the holidays to do more upgrade etc. Thanks again Re: BOeC layout - MLW - 11-28-2015 doctorwayne Wrote:I agree with Bruce, and I also really enjoyed that video. Hi Wayne. Thank you! That is very kind. When I watch the older video it scary. It also shows me that I am, somewhat, on the right track with scenery anyway. Thanks again Re: BOeC layout - MLW - 11-28-2015 sailormatlac Wrote:Excellent! Those old catenary girders truly set the mood in Montreal! I'll say it again, but I like how your layout feels like the real thing! Hello Matt. Thanks! The catenaries have been "almost finished" since, when? summer? Boy do I need to get my behind in gear! Yes it was green before, but it did not "look" or "feel" right. Another things I need to adjust. I haven't post in a while, however I do drop by from time to time. You have progress on your layout by leaps and bound! Bravo! Re: BOeC layout - MLW - 11-28-2015 PEIR Wrote:Cool vid looking forward to the next instalment. Hi PEIR. Yes I know I should "publish" the next chapter. Soon, soon.. well kinda off I wish I could find a button for answering everyone in one post! Later Syl Re: BOeC layout - MLW - 11-28-2015 Ok here's another quick video...I know "take your time etc. etc." that is just it: Right now I have little time for the Railroad https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoAaGHH1_EM&feature=youtu.be Re: BOeC layout - faraway - 11-29-2015 Excellent! Thanks for sharing and have a great Sunday. Re: BOeC layout - MLW - 12-17-2015 Thanks faraway Well, here's another video for your entertainment: https://youtu.be/PfK0YOOeunk Cheers Re: BOeC layout - MountainMan - 12-17-2015 MLW Wrote:I`ve been asked a few times if I had a track plan. I don`t at the moment. What are the dimensions of the room? Re: BOeC layout - MLW - 12-18-2015 MountainMan Wrote:MLW Wrote:I`ve been asked a few times if I had a track plan. I don`t at the moment. Hello MountainMan. The room is approximately 13 feet X 25 feet. The layout is around the walls (as you can see in this older drawing) with a width ranging from 21 inches to 16 inches. The Center peninsula is 22-24 inches.. The aisle are roughly 33 inches or so. The drawing is not showing the layout extension (in the early planning stages) to the left by the swing gate/bridge. Time for a new chapter for the begining of this new year Picking up the story were we left off: Joe and Zette had found the overpass and it gave them a choice: Take the left exit? or go straight? Meanwhile at "Recyclable" things were quiet since Charle and Oscar left in a hurry (again!) Even the dog, across the river, was quiet.. . |
