Re: Charlie b's layout - Charlie B - 08-16-2012 Ed, you do great close up work. The layout doesn't look that good in person. I'm waiting to see more of your layout Charlie Re: Charlie b's layout - Charlie B - 08-16-2012 Jack, It is just so great to see you back. OBJack Wrote:Hey Charlie, great going buddy. Re: Charlie b's layout - cn nutbar - 08-17-2012 Hi Charlie---I'm sure you would be disappointed with my layout compared to yours---I would much rather post shots of your train room---here's a few more scenes Re: Charlie b's layout - cn nutbar - 08-20-2012 More of Charlie's big power Re: Charlie b's layout - Charlie B - 08-20-2012 That's one of my favorites, however the water tower needs to be weathered.. Charlie Re: Charlie b's layout - Tyson Rayles - 08-21-2012 Nice shots of a nice layout! Charlie I agree that the tower could use a shot of dul-cote. Re: Charlie b's layout - cn nutbar - 08-21-2012 Here's a few more views of Charlie's layout---it's a railfanners dream come true with all the great scenes Re: Charlie b's layout - sailormatlac - 08-24-2012 cn nutbar Wrote:Here's a few more views of Charlie's layout---it's a railfanners dream come true with all the great scenes Thanks for sharing Ed! A four track main line! What can you ask more? Matt Re: Charlie b's layout - faraway - 08-25-2012 I do often think about Charlie's layout when we are discussing passenger trains. He has the track structure and the space to run realistic passenger trains. Re: Charlie b's layout - cn nutbar - 08-25-2012 Seeing is believing.Recently I had the privilege to have visited Charlie's layout---it is more impressive in person.I was always amazed at the size of his train room from the photos,it's huge --- I could probably fit my entire layout in the corner of his room. What was also more impressive to me was his collection of motive power---it was great to be able to photograph his beautiful collection of locomotives---here's another example Re: Charlie b's layout - Charlie B - 10-02-2012 It's a dreary day here so time for a little play. http://youtu.be/nRDUnEN512o Charlie Re: Charlie b's layout - doctorwayne - 10-02-2012 Nice to see that you got your backlog of stockcars built, Charlie. Wayne Re: Charlie b's layout - cn nutbar - 10-02-2012 Hi Charlie---I hope that dreary weather hangs around long enough for you to take a few more videos Re: Charlie b's layout - Charlie B - 10-02-2012 doctorwayne Wrote:Nice to see that you got your backlog of stockcars built, Charlie.I still have 10 to do, a winter project...I have 5 or 6 RTR that need some trucks and couplers and weathering so I will be able to add 16 more cars and another locomotive to that train . The I1 is at its limit right now. It pulls the hill fine with some speed but if you slow it down it loses traction at the steepest section.
