Thanks Reinhard.

I think I'll also use the walls for a generic warehouse, with the tall building and tanks, together with the piping for a plastic pellet unloading faciliity.

Magic Pan Bakeries is a really useful kit for modern era ISLs.

Great stuff, so simple yet so effective!!

I have a warehouwse I am needing to build that will be on the edge of one of my modules. I am having a serious debate on if I want to have it open so you can see inside or havethe back wall blanked out. Either way I will be checking your posts for tips and tricks on building my building.

Wow! That's quite low! Mine is actually at 44", which is a realistic height when sitting, but not operating. I could lower it at 40", which would clear the sloped ceiling enough to install 1-storey buildings...

So you roll on your chair with your command control!! Nice!

Always look forward to see what you are doing next, unlike some of the guys on the layout forum that have been spending what seems like years on planning a layout, you say your going to make a change and then within a short period of time show what you have done. Don't neccessarily understand why you change your layout so much but you do keep it interesting.
See that the grain elevator has made another appearance. Have to agree that the Magic Pan Bakery is a great kit with a great amount of kitbashing possibilities.

This is not a bakery! All wall parts of the bakery kit have been used to build this 41" long generic structure. The joints did not do so well. They got hidden by stack pipes. The door and cornerstone truck loading gates will be installed after painting. The remaining parts (office, tower, tank etc.) of the kit are on shelf and used later.

That looks great!

I didn't realise there were that many wall sections in the kit, I must have a look in the box again. I also like the height of the walls, looks slightly higher than Pikestuff.

The kit should be perfect for my next project.

The heavy rain has stopped this morning but the forecast is snow and temperatures below freezing point. That would delay spaying the bare structures for another infinite time. I bite the bulled and did it an hour ago.
40° and gusty winds on the balcony are a real challenge. "That" is NOT my hobby. The structures are still on the floor of the balcony to minimize the smell of the paint in the apartment.

Remembers me my appartment days... Nope More paint gone with the wind than on the model!

Thank you for the kind word. I was not sure how to do the Walters bakery structure. The original brown was not what I wanted. It got a boxcar red/brown coat. That looked very wrong. Like red burned brick from 1900 and not like precast concrete blocks. I decided to try an intentional imperfect white coat and a black wash. That matches nice with the other concrete slab buildings with their perfect plain and white texture.

The other buildings are not worth a photo this time. An "upgrade" from styrene white to rattle can primer white is not a sensation Wink

The east industry developed too. An older pipe assembly has been reused to form a two spot tank car unloading facility.
The photo proofs, no more excuses, it is ballasting time ... a job not to be done on the balcony Smile
