Re: 59th and Rust - mountaingoatgreg - 10-08-2013 Looking good!! Have a great time this weekend at the show!! Re: 59th and Rust - long island jack - 10-15-2013 Hi all 59th and Rust had it's first exhibition at the weekend everything went ok, one of my freinds took this short video, there's a bit of background noise from the exhibition but you get a idea what it's like, may do one myself at a later date. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yshpvH0IQE Ray Re: 59th and Rust - Ralph - 10-15-2013 Great video. Nice to see the layout in action. Did you have a sound module going? I heard seagulls! Re: 59th and Rust - long island jack - 10-21-2013 Ralph, made the background sound myself, they run on a old sony walkman. I've made a video of the Erie local switching 2 boxcars,it's not the best but it's a start,it gives you a idea how the layout works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIV29mOn ... load_owner Ray Re: 59th and Rust - trisonic - 10-27-2013 Looks even more beautiful (in a grotty way) on BB! A Classic, great, layout, Ray... Best, Pete. Hope you enjoy it Ray Re: 59th and Rust - faraway - 11-02-2013 I love your videos. They are wonderful relaxing. Everything is so smooth and slow. Your switching speed matches the prototype very well. That is also the way how I operate my layout. Re: 59th and Rust - long island jack - 11-23-2013 Hi all Added the final pieces to the jigsaw, crossing bucks, lines on road Also added a tree, always thought one would look ok,think it finishes the scene off? The local predetors like the addition,as you can see the Red tailed kite sitting on the top branches, and the white cat on the lower one, both after the same rat!!! Only thing left to do(maybe) is some manhole covers in the road Ray Re: 59th and Rust - modelsof1900 - 11-23-2013 Great scenes, very nice modeling! Re: 59th and Rust - Tyson Rayles - 11-23-2013 Nicely done! Re: 59th and Rust - Kev1340 - 11-23-2013 Looks great Ray I think the tree really works well, adds a bit of contrast to the urban scenery.
