Independence Day
#1
On this day when we remember a day in history that was to be the Birth of this Great Nation, it is appropriate to recognize that history is important! Please take a moment today to think back and to thank to those great Patriots who had the fearlessness to stand tall in the face of the greatest power of their day, the courage to declare themselves no longer a Colony of Great Britain, but an Independent Nation, and the insight to write a set of Documents that more than any others in the history of this world, come the closest to perfection when considering the rights provided us by our Creator, and the Freedom to pursue Life, Liberty and Happiness ... to strive to be the best that we can be!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

Everyone!!!

And as he said: Thanks to everyone that fought for it and continue to fight both in the armed forces and at home, defending the Constitution itself!!!

I just realized I left out a very important part of what I had planned to say in my Fourth of July posting!

Ahem

This Pledge captures the Spirit of the Pledge of Allegiance, and of being an American as much, if not more, now as it did when it was originally aired many years ago, When some of us were only very young children, and is fitting that we remember the meaning of the words it contains as we celebrate the Independence of the United States of America.

Thanks for clicking on the link and watching ... and now I hope you will think about it.

Thank you ... and God Bless America!

They are all gone now.
I deployed in these three, and two others, to the Mediterranean, for Sixth Fleet Ops.

I am blessed that fate made me an American. Let's all do what we can to uphold the Constitution and our freedom.
