I'm actually bashing an old Front Range boxcar into a 40ft insulated boxcar.

I've been through many prototype photos and have a question. On many model, the heater is a small box under the door. Looking at this picture: http://www.cnrphotos.com/gallery2/main.p...emId=16404 it seems there's a box on each side (4 steel braces seems a little bit overdone for such a small apparatus. Is that right?
It seems I'll have to redo some details on that car.
