Sad to say, but it looks like Brian Martin has closed up shop on Hamilton Model Works. The website is no longer available, and Dave Cool of Canadian Express Lines had this to say in his latest newsletter:
Quote:HAMILTON MODEL WORKS
...........is no more. Sorry to say, this small manufacturer of fine
Canadian structure kits has ceased operation. All I have left in stock are
the following kit and detail parts...
Sad day for cottage industries...

They're not the only ones in Southern Ontario to go...

[narrowgaugemadness] Going out of business -Narrow Tracks & Trains
Hi Guys,
Narrow Tracks and Trains is going out of business this summer. My parner Jean-Pierre Cahorn is moving to Nova Scotia in July and will not be producing kits anymore. We have a bit of stock left at 30% off listed on our web site. You can e-mail me at ntt@ptbo.igs.net. Thanks for your support over the years.

Hamilton Model Works were nice people, but they certainly couldn't survive on the amount of business I gave them.

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.
Most modellers can get two of them to work.

Clearly they are entitled to some of our Federal bail-out money. 8-)

Are we sending American bail out money to Canada, now? Of course, Hamilton won't be a big enough company to receive bail out money. If you are not in debt for $billions at least, you are too small to get bailed out.

Hey! I'd rather see our bailout money, aka taxes, go to Canada than, to say, Mexico or China!!
I only know what I know, and I don't understand very much of it, either.

That's
our stupidity for letting our politicians do it.
