OK, just a quick idea. If I move the yard to the left where that double track industry is now, I could put an interchange and hidden staging where the yard is now, and put that wye coming out of the island. Then a through freight could come from staging, switch the interchange and other industries, but then I would need staging at the other end 
or could he turn at the turntable and come back? :?
