I would think that they should at least make these parts so that when they go flying off of your tweezers, you at least know which direction they went in. :o

Ahhhhhhh, that tiny CLICK !!!! that signals the, spitting out, of a tiny part from the "beak" of a pair of tweezers. AKA, "The model builder's nightmare"

I know that feeling all too well.....of the thousands lost in the carpet, you would think at least one would be found. not yet, anyway. Probably will find them all on the day I no longer need any.
