I did a quick test with a large low cost dull coat rattle can I use to protect the water color on the buildings. It did not show the ugly white clouds.
The dull coat with the problem is MR Hobby http://gunplahobbies.files.wordpress.com...c_0060.jpg. It hates to be sprayed on top of Micro Sol.
The substitute from the home improvement market is not as dull, very close to satin, and it is much thicker easily covering details. Just good enough for large building fronts.
