Weekly Photo Fun 11/27 - 12/3/15
#6
I pulled this out of my boxes last week.
This is the first dome car, CPR 1902. They built 4 of them, but various technology deficiencies (no A/C, no polarized glass) made them a bit warm for the premium service. They were replaced in a few years by open observation cars.
The model is Westwood and about 50 years old. My modelling skills were not up to attaching the railings to the end platforms.

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.
Most modellers can get two of them to work.
