Yes they are. You are also correct on the origin of #9. I was told it was built for the US Army in 1942 and worked out of Fort Dix, NJ and Fort Eustis, Va. The Army sold it to the Virginia Blue Ridge Railway, they later sold it to the New Hope and Ivyland RR in PA, who then sold it to the SMS Rail Service in 2009. They have been working on it since then. I had pictures of it from early 2010 but they were some of the 39 months of pics I lost when my external hard drive and computer two years ago.
