So, the difference is a pair of wires and a power pack? I see differently - that if animation is simply a one-option task, then it is an "animated diorama" In my opinion, it has to have at least one switch or secondary track capable of operation in order to be a "layout"

That said, it looks cool though and I am curious how you will handle the rest of the scenery.

Oh I do like your opinion nachoman..... Ya know... I am starting to think he needs a turnout, an animated Santa, Christmas tree AND A FINISHED THESIS for this to qualify.... if he wasn't so darn busy watching old episodes of UFO (70's Cheese at its finest <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://ufoseries.com/">http://ufoseries.com/</a><!-- m -->) he would have had his thesis done already
