Well, I was visited by Rube and his 5th corollary this week.... GIGO
On the 3D printer, I've been having all kinds of issues around the "hot end" where the filament is dispersed so the printer can "write" to the bed to create 3D things. Turns out (after many new parts $$) and a few hours work. The filament was causing the issues.... GIGO. the new machine doesn't like the older stuff... so I got garbage out!!
So now, using the newer plastic, the printer is back online and my nerves are calmed once again
