In elementary school, I built two plastic planes: an F-4 and a P-38. I also built five battleships, one cruiser, one PT boat, two ironclads, and five aircraft carriers. In college, I built a model of the USS Mobile Bay (the Ticonderoga Class) for my cousin whom was a officer on her in Operation Iraqi Freedom...that caused me to built a German Battle Cruiser for myself. The only car I ever tried to build was a Lamborghini back around 2nd grade...
If I ever build an Oahu Railway Layout, there will be a warship on it. I don't build them today as I prefer to focus on trains...but warships from 1890-1945 are of great interest to me.
