Hmmm. I removed the boiler on mine, but I don't recall it being especially difficult - mind you, there's a lot of stuff I don't recall. 
I didn't worry too much about the details, though, as most had been removed or were about to be - I thought that most of the piping, which looks so nice, was undersize, and I eventually replaced pretty-well all of it.
