Back to the standard gauge caboose -
I painted the roof black, and the grab irons white. I also bent some railings for the platform ends, and scratchbuilt a battery box. I need to add a brakestaff to each platform, and ladders to each end. I also need to add roof grab irons and details. I think I will leave the cast-on brake details under the car. The cost of all those detail parts adds up, and frankly the underbody details aren't that visible. The only reason I have added them to other cars is because they are more visible, or because the original car either completely lacked those details, or because those details were extremely crude.
